Head to the Wine Tasting at Catherine's Market in Russell Crossroads. The tastings are usually well-stocked with tables full of friends, conversation, and laughter. Friday On The Green at Russell Crossroads. This is a fun family event every Friday Evening through September 15th.   The Russell Crossroads Community Garden Club will hold the season’s first Pancake Breakfast of the season Labor Day Weekend. Saturday morning, from 8am–10am, members of the Community Garden Club will be serving their famous pancakes hot off the griddle. Bring your family for breakfast. Head into downtown Alexander City to stock up on a few things.  First stop is the Farmers Market.  Located on Church Street next to the First Baptist Church.  Shop for fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers.  Be sure to stock up on homemade jams and jellies too.

Stop by the Women's Boutique on MainStreet.  Great selection of women's apparel, shoes and accessories.  You are sure to find a special treat for yourself.

Pop into the Alabama's Street Makers Market on Main Street.  Here you'll find a few pieces of artwork and pottery you really need.  The Alabama and Auburn glassware that just arrived would be perfect for your football gatherings.

Wellborn Musclecar Museum.  Yep! This should be on everyone's list of things to do.  The Wellborn Musclecar Museum is devoted to the great American automobiles of the1960's and 1970's, showcasing classics such as the Charger, theRoadrunner, and the Superbee, as well as the nation's largest High Performance Dodge collection. Head to the Rock.  You know it is where you'll find all your friends.  Let the kids jump. Sit and people watch for a while.

Beach It.  It is just what we do at Lake Martin.  Find a secluded area or join in the fun at some of the hang outs like big beach.  But be sure to take everything you came with including all your trash!!  Keep Lake Martin clean...please!
